Jubilee USA Fast For Economic Justice For Iraq
Jubilee Montana is a network council member of Jubilee USA Network, an organization working in solidarity with partners in Latin America, Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and Iraq calling for unconditional cancellation of external debt in these countries. International debt cripples countries and victimizes the people.
On June 16-30, 2005, Rita Jankowska-Bradley, who coordinates Jubilee Montana Network and serves on the national coordinating committee (board), participated in a 15-day fast for economic justice for Iraq before the UN in Geneva Switzerland. Rita was part of a small core delegation representing a coalition of groups demanding justice for Iraq.
